How Timed Auctions Work

  1. Agents will upload the property to Auctions Live and set the parameters of the Timed Auctions, including:
    1. Auction Start and end date
    2. Starting bid amount
    3. Reserve price
  1. Buyers can register to bid on the property via the real estate agents website before or after the Timed Auction begins.
  2. All buyers will be pre-qualified, have their identification verified, and approved by the agents before they can place a bid.
  1. Approved buyers can commence placing bids; bids must exceed the starting bid amount.
  2. Agents can pause the Timed Auctions to negotiate with the sellers and buyers.
  3. If a property has not been announced as "On the Market", sellers will have the opportunity to adjust the reserve price in consultation with their agents and auctioneers.
  4. When a bid is placed in the last 3 minutes of an auction, the auction timer will restart to a full 3+ minutes.
  5. If the reserve price has been met and the timer expires, a property may be sold to the buyer that has placed the highest bid.
  1. Buyers can register to bid on properties via the selling real estate agents websites before or after the Timed Auction begins.
  2. The selling agent will be required to pre-qualify, verify and approve buyers before they can place a bid.
  1. The potential buyer can commence placing bids.
  2. The property will be announced "On the Market" once the reserve price set by the seller has been met.
  3. If a bid is placed in the last 3 minutes of the auction, the auction timer will restart to a full 3+ minutes.
  4. If the reserve price has been met and the timer expires, a property may be sold to the buyer that has placed the highest bid.
  1. The agent will be required to appoint an Auctioneer to manage Timed Auctions.
  1. Upload the property to Auctions Live and set the parameters of the Timed Auctions, including:
    1. Auction start and end date
    2. Starting bid amount
    3. Reserve price
  1. Every time a buyer registers to bid on a property, the agent will be required to pre-qualify them, verify their identification and approve them to bid online.
  1. Once a Timed Auction commences, approved buyers can start placing bids.
  2. Appointed auctioneers will be responsible for administering all bids.
  3. If a property has not been announced: "On the Market", sellers will have the opportunity to adjust their reserve price.
  4. When a bid is placed in the last 3 minutes of the auction, the auction timer will restart to a full 3+ minutes.
  5. If the reserve price has been met and the timer expires, a property may be sold to the buyer that has placed the highest bid.
